Manila, Philippines [November 14, 2024] – ePLDT and PLDT Enterprise, the ICT subsidiary and business arm of PLDT Group respectively, recently won awards in cybersecurity and customer service given out by Asia Symposiums at the global research company’s first-ever Philippine industry events for technology and business leaders.
At the Cybersecurity Symposiums Philippines 2024, held on November 7 at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, ePLDT and PLDT Enterprise were co-recipients of the “Cybersecurity Innovator of the Year” award for efforts in helping customers secure their digital environment. These include enhancing protection, reducing risk, increasing efficiency, and offering new ways to detect and respond to threats.

In addition, Alex Bernardino, ePLDT Field CISO and PLDT Enterprise Head of Enterprise Consulting Practice, earned the “Best CISO of the Year” recognition for his expertise in security technologies and contribution to elevating knowledge sharing within various industries.
At the Asia Customer Experience 2024 event last November 8, ePLDT and PLDT Enterprise also secured the “Customer Success Story of the Year” award, affirming both companies’ exceptional commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction through innovation and personalized service delivery.
