Employees’ Camaraderie Prevail in ePLDT Sportsfest 2019
Employees fearlessly vied in the field of sports during the ePLDT Sportsfest 2019, which was opened last May 30, 2019 at the grounds of VITRO Makati. This year’s sportsfest is the first battle for the ePLDT Battleground, which is an all-year-round competition for the four pillars — Data Center, Cloud, Cyber Security, and Managed IT Services.
The festival comprised of employees’ favorite sports: Men and Women’s Basketball, Dart, and Chess. Fun games were also included such as Sack Race, Tug of War, and Mystery games that surely boosted the spirits of every team. The event, which ran for almost two months, was part of the company’s determination to promote a healthy lifestyle while enhancing strong camaraderie in the workplace.
Winners were formally announced and awarded on July 11, 2019 during the closing ceremony. The first battle of ePLDT Battleground truly magnified robust relationships in the company.
